Precision Manufacturing Of Commercial Quality Conduits

Pipes and tubes are hollow, long and cylindrical objects made of different materials. These plastic and steel conduits and hoses have diverse applications. The manufacturer of high grade steel tubing supplies various industries. Construction and mechanical works are totally dependent on these materials. The commercial quality pipe bending works are taken up by the manufacturers on a large scale. They store these tubes in large warehouses, and cater to the retail and industrial markets. Carbon steel is a malleable alloy that is widely used in commercial and consumer applications.

Carbon steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. It also has small amounts of manganese, copper, and silicon.
  • The material costs less, and it bends, straightens, or flexes in an easy manner.
  • It can be shaped and formed due to low tensile strength, ductility, and malleability.
  • The material's surface hardness can also be increased with carburizing process.
  • The pipes made of carbon steel have high quality and desired shapes or sizes. Fluid substances like air, gas, water, oil, and other liquids can flow through the pipes.
  • These hollow tubes are also used in agricultural tools and automotive components.
  • Other application areas are construction, furniture making, and exhaust systems.
Tube Processing
Pipe making and tube cutting or processing has been in vogue since the days of industrial revolution. The metal or alloy is shaped, welded, sized, and cut to achieve  specific dimensions. There are two primary manufacturing methods known as the seamless and the welded techniques. Modern lasers are also used in Pipe Bending works, along with the old traditional machines in the mills. The diameters of these hollow tubes ranges from several metres to very few nanometres. Precision, cost effectiveness, high quality, and efficiency are the key factors in production.
  • Metallic and non-metallic substances are moulded into strong pipes and stylish tubes.
  • Steel manufacturers focus mainly on metallic works, and carbon steel has high priority.
  • Non-metals such as plastic, wood, paper, glass, and clay moulding is possible, but rare.
  • Bending specific material into pre-determined shapes or sizes is the main challenge.
  • Special techniques are in use, but customers have challenging and unique requirements.
  • Sophisticated machines, tools, and laser equipment are utilized for optimal benefit.
  • Quality control measures and testing are also undertaken to ensure higher standards.
Accurate Manufacturing
Precision is normally associated with engineering designs and computations. But, Every manufacturing task - whether small or big - demands accuracy. A tube's hollowness, uniform wall thickness, and dimensions are essential. The diameter, curvature, and length have to be calculated without errors. These precise measurements have to be used in the Pipe Bending and shaping process.
  • The manufacture process is highly technical and skilled workmanship is vital.
  • In seamless steel pipe making, The actions include billeting, heating, and piercing.
  • This is followed by elongation, rolling, reeling, straightening and sizing methods.
  • The welded tubes are initially plated or striped and then roll formed.
  • Then they are seam welded and subjected to post treatment.
  • This is followed by weld inspection and accurate sizing actions.
  • The final step in both methods is finishing, and this ensures commercial quality.
  • Automated welding machines, laser vision, and guidance systems are expertly used.
  • Edge shapes, spirals, rotary bent shapes are created without any deformities.
Post Manufacturing
After the manufacture of pipes and tubes, Several other operations commence. They include annealing, cutting, bending, straightening, and coating deposition. Laser cutters are highly precise and they assure very small cutting widths. Sizing actions include sawing, lathe cutting, and rotary cutting. Many of these operations are automated through computer controls and laser beam technology.
